Becoming a Civil Celebrant was not a career I was thinking of as a child. Unless you are born or grow up in or around the Funeral or Wedding Industry I don't think it is something that many young people would think of becoming.

That said, I have found my journey as a celebrant to be the most rewarding of the work I have done in my life, but I do not want to paint a fully rosy picture for you, it is also hard work if you want it to be your sole source of income.

The market is far more competitive now than it has ever been, however,  if you want to become a Celebrant I encourage you - aside of my family, it is the best and most amazing thing I have ever done! The only caveat is that I want you to make informed decisions, there is much mis-information on social media and in the press and wildly inaccurate estimates of income etc.

For points, hints, tips and how to information on how to become a Celebrant please click on the link below to download a helpful fact and information sheet I have created for you.

I hope this is of help and that if being a celebrant is the right choice for you, that I can be of further service to you after your training.

My best wishes to you

Amanda Jane
